I just want to convey a sincere 'thank you' to all you guys! You made me feel like royalty! In regards to acquiring my purchase, the process was painless. I can honestly say that when it comes to knowledge and professionalism that Merriam Pianos rates the highest in my books! From getting digital and acoustic questions answered from Stu a few years ago, having a pleasant interaction with Robin in 2016 and to finally being treated with great respect from Joe throughout the process of purchasing my new instrument. it was a long time coming but I finally decided to purchase a Kawai VPC-1 piano controller from Merriam Pianos. IвЂ™m a fan, watched all your YouTube videos, those reviews were really helpful during my research phase, and they were also one of the reasons why I ended up in your showroom today and made a purchase. Finally thanks to Stu, for making this deal happen. Great place to start, and very likely the place to finalize the purchase, just like what I did. Anyways, it was a pleasant surprise visiting the showroom, and I would hands down recommending Merriam pianos to anyone whoвЂ™s looking to buy or even just to experience different kind of pianos. So thereвЂ™s that, I guess I could comfort myself saying money well spent. Money was already put aside for it (in another word, IвЂ™ve spent so much more than planned, thanks to Merriam) Another thing I didnвЂ™t say was the key action on the PX850 and PX160 in your showroom, well, idk, just felt so bad compare to Kawai, even the KDP110 feels so much better than the Casio.

What I didnвЂ™t tell you was that weвЂ™ve had our eyes on the Casio PX860 thatвЂ™s going to be on sale at Costco.ca for $900 from Feb 17. It was after youвЂ™ve played the nice piece on kdp110 and CN29 that I started to seriously think about getting one right there.

Oh did I mention that I bought a BEAUTIFUL Kawai CN29 at an unbelievably good price! itвЂ™s definitely an impulse buy, I was never planning to make a purchase even after IвЂ™ve seen and touched all the floor models.

So I went to the Merriam showroom this afternoon in the hope of seeking professional advice and boy was it worth it! Thanks to Patrick, whoвЂ™s extremely nice and patient, if it wasnвЂ™t for your great customer service, I wouldnвЂ™t have made the purchase on site. IвЂ™ve done a fair bit of research, on paper, but never got a chance to experience the real thing. And the exceptionally good customer service at Merriam is definitely worth recommending.As an absolute beginner, all I was trying to do was to touch and feel some of the digital pianos, and eventually purchase one and start learning. Normally I donвЂ™t do reviews, but since IвЂ™m still awake and exciting because of todayвЂ™s Merriam visit, might as well.
